Have you ever had to steal something from someone and the item you stole belonged to you?

I have always believed that if a person has something of mine and does not give it back it is because they need it more then me. Excluding my spouse!!!!!!!!!

I have run into this. I would ask for my thing back, then they didn't return it. So I couldn't do anything about it. Iv never really had anything important stolen this way. But it sure is annoying when some one steals something right in front of you and says that they "didn't"
