  • Well the answers should be interesting to read.
  • Any and all who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ.
  • I don't think you asked the question you wanted. Christianity is a religion. Mormonism is a denomination within the Christian religion. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a sect within the Mormon denomination. As it stands, Christianity is the only Christian religion. I believe you want a Mormon to list either other denominations or sects which we consider Christian. This is funny because Mormons don't have a history of wholesale denial that there are other Christian sects; mainstream Christianity, on the other hand, has a history of denying wholesale that Mormonism is Christian. As such, I would venture to say that any sect you called Christian would also be considered Christian by Mormons. There are literally thousands of Christian sects, so I can't possibly name them all. The Catholic Church, The Anglican Church, The Baptist Church, The Quakers, The Presbyterian Church, The Community of Christ, The Congregational Churches, The Church of God, The Church of Christ, The Methodist Church, etc.

That is your modus operandi, Joe Fraud. Moongrim Dec, So Glenn and Laie and Dori. This should be a no brainer answer. Let me try again, for those of you in the LDS rows. Name just one religion, other than Mormonism (or any and all of its offshoots, affilate names or churches)(in other words, any religion that has no claim to Joseph Smith) that is Christian. Just one. That is the appropriate response from a Mormon. We are not here to convert you, just to share a special message... We are not trying to say your church isn't Christian, just that our is the only one that is Christian.

  • Being Christian is... IMHO The acceptance of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Accepting the bible as the only Christian referance. Accepting the bible as the final answer to questions concerning your faith. I will answer the question… In Mormonism, no, there is NO OTHER Christian church. Mormonism is the only CORRECT church on earth. It is Christ restored church. All other religions…. Let’s try that again, ALL OTHER RELIGIONS are apostate and are the church of the devil. http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/8465530 Dori, hiding your little list in the middle of a thread. Kinda cool. Maybe no one will see it there. Let's hope ( : So, Dori, you are strong in your faith and beliefs. I am assuming anyways. I CHALLENGE you to re do or create a new answer to this question. That would include your comments. Yet, since you probably wouldn't... I have done it for you. Would it be safe to say that if you were from any of the churches you listed or from the church of Mormonism, you would be on the same par as one another? As far as being the correct church. Because, if I am not mistaken, I thought that all churches were an apostate. I thought that Brigham Young and Joseph smith thought that your were either from the Church of the Lamb (Mormonism) or you were from the church of Babylon (the devil). <edndori Dec, 06 2009 at 10:12 AM They are Christian. I said nothing about orthodox, which has more to do with how popular their ideas are than it has to do with whose teachings they profess to accept. . And being Christian has to do with whose teachings they are trying to follow. Apostate has to do with whether they agree with others about what those teachings are and what they mean. The two are not mutually exclusive.> < edndori Dec, 06 2009 at 04:28 AM I did answer the question. You aren't that stupid, just that contentious. But here are a few: . Roman Catholic Church Eastern Orthodox Church Oriental Orthodox Church Assyrian Church of the East Lutheranism Anglican Church Presbyterian Anabaptist Methodist Baptist Jehovah's Witness . I could go on in greater length and detail, but why bother. I already gave you the complete definition in one sentence. . I'll even include you in the list because you "profess belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ" even though you have shown me no sign that you are willing to LIVE those teachings. > <Answer 2 out of 5 Read all answers by edndori28 on Dec 5, 2009 at 8:08 am Permalink Any and all who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ.>
