  • Yes i do.
  • I am a woman - I do not have a tattoo on my lower back
  • Not trampy when its on a hot girl, but it is trampy when its on a fat chick with her rolls dangling.
  • Well, consider this. A tatoo draws attention, so the spot chosen for this attention is about an inch or so from your buttcrack. leaving your entire ass in view with the Tatoo in the center. So what you are basically doing is putting out an invitation saying "HEY EVERYONE!!! Look at my ASS!" And any lady who did that I would consider a tramp. It's subtly trampy, and an invitation for ass staring. All the while men are being berated for being cheuvanistic all they are probably thinking while looking at some lady's rear end is "Is that a monarch or an Austrailian painted lady?"
  • Yeah, a little.
  • No..Its on the sexiest part of the female anatomy..If you got it flaunt it I say.
  • i like a tattoo on a womans back but it has to be carefully selected. it cant be too big and i agree with another comment that weight is an issue .. rolls can make any tattoo in any place look trampy
  • Not trampy. Just a waste. How women lit on that as sexy, I'll never know. One of the sexiest things imaginable is the female posterior. It need no decoration. That being said, on the sexiest women I ever knew had a full back tattoo that ran all the way down to her right buttock. Indescribably sexy!
  • If women are going to get offended by people noticing their tatoos and commenting, then they should not get any.
  • My husband would EVISCERATE me if I got a tattoo ANY where on my body! But . . . . . I WOULDN'T, any way! I DO. . . . . . .think they look "trampy"! That's MY gratuitous opinion! And what do people who do that (ESPECIALLY WOMEN) think they're going to look like in OLD AGE when even showing your ARMS is repugnant; much less your lower BACK! I think they're entirely INANE and ill-advised! Being a "lady" can NEVER be "out of syle"! DON'T . . . . . .EVER. . . . .TATTOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I'm a guy. Been lots of places, known a few women, been up been down, been in war, have very few biases, have no dogmatic religious beliefs,-really pretty easy going. And yes, I think it is a little trashy, and if I have any reason at all to comment on them, I refer to such a tattoo as a tramp stamp.
  • No one should be harshly judged like some of the opinions already on here, JUST because she has a tattoo. Damn. Having tattoos DOES NOT mean you aren't a lady or classless. It doesn't automatically make you trampy either. I have several tattoos, a good head on my shoulders and am certainly not lacking any class. It's okay to not like tattoos, but calling someone tasteless for having them is stupid.
  • Well, I wouldn’t exactly describe it as trampy, as that has certain connotations attached, but it's certainly not classy.
  • I don't believe that I have any right to judge how other people choose to decorate their bodies. +5
  • I HAVE ONE AND IT IS BIG...FROM ONE SIDE TO THE NEXT...I AM NOT AND TRAMP AND MY HUSBAND LOVES IT..I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY OWN SINS IN THE END,SO I THINK PEOPLE NEED TO KEEP THEIR OPINIONS TO THEMSELVES...I HAD SOMEONE TELL ME THAT BEFORE (TRAMP STAMP) AND I RESPONDED BY SAYING I KNOW WHAT I AM AND THAT IS A LADY AND I DO NOT NEED YOUR APPROVAL AT ALL....AGAIN MY HUSBAND LOVES IT
  • i dont like it, i think it looks a little trashy.. but it also depends on the tattoo i think, and the meaning behind it. but i know i would nevr get one there.
  • most ppl i kno, dont even know i have a tattoo on my lower back i have a reputation of being a non-nonsense, smart, posh and a bold person, you think just coz of the tattoo which has a lot of meaning to me..that they'd think low of me or even dare to call me a trap?? you wish!!
  • I personally think most tattoos on women look trashy. don't know why, i just do. that wouldn't stop me from going out with them or anything.
  • It just became a fad and yes I think it's trashy and hilarious and yes I call it a tramp stamp.
  • A tatoo on anyone Male of femal is trashey.
  • No, they are NOT trampy at all. A better name for them might be "bumper stickers".
  • I don't know about "trampy," but they're very sexy on younger women with nice figures. The question is ... just how sexy is that going to look on a 60 year old with a bit of excess weight? : )
  • That's the ONLY place where I find a tattoo sexy on women!!!!!
  • Can't see that I would go either way on tattoos. I know some straight and lez women who have them. They can be attrictive in the right place and context.
  • no, that's what it is....and why I never got one
  • It clearly is a tramp stamp. That must be the message that the person wished to convey.
  • I'd be offended if someone referred to my own as a tramp stamp, but I think of some others as tramp stamps. See, to me, a tramp stamp is when it's nothing but something interesting to look at when you're getting her from behind -- it has no meaning, it probably subtly points to her ass, it's placed in a way that the only way you'd see it is if her pants are too low. Mine is a little higher up than that, so I have a few shirts that might show it when I bend over but for the most part I have to choose to show it to you. It's a kanji, which is a bit overdone, but I know what it says (really, like out of a dictionary, not off the studio wall poster of kanji) and can more or less pronounce it (as in, I'm still an american, i'm sure I butcher it, but i know how it's romanized), and I picked it because it's something that means something to me. :)
  • It doesn't appeal to me personally, but I'm not going to judge it because there any many different types of people with varying tastes. We all should have the right to express ourselves as we wish. Considering that I have a tattoo, I'd be quite a hypocrite if I did look down on it.
  • I don't understand why women would get that. They are degrading themselves. The only thing worse is those tight shorts with the writing on them. It traps us into looking when that's really the last place we want to look.
  • I don't think of lower back tattoos that way. I think they add beauty to the most gorgeous canvas of all, the human body. If I had one and a guy said that to me. I would say "Don't you wish I was." ;-)
  • Most definitely trampy. It shows an absolute lack of class and judgement. Very trashy. People who like these kinds of tatoos also like Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr., think of college graduates as "smarty pants know-it-alls", and think that the Mullet is making a comeback.
  • All tattoos are trampy, and 'artistic' tattos are even trampier than home-made prison tattoos.
  • Seriously people, get over it, chicks who have tats in their cleveage, on their hip bones, hell I'll even go as far to say have their lips or tongues pierced, THAT IS TRAMPY. A tat on the lower back, really? Thats just normal for girls. Guys can legally walk around without a shirt, so they have their whole upper body to tat without question or comment, but girls have like 4 places we can get tattos. Lower back is just one of the easier places to get tattoo'd so you can hide it at work and then show it when you go out...that's all..Tramp Stamp is just an effing over used joke made up by sailors in the 1900's.
  • I don't approve of any tattoos on my wife as for other woman that is up to them. I just think they make a woman look cheap, easy, and dirty.
  • If the ink is done well, I think it looks sexy. ;)
  • Yeah in a good way.
  • I really just brush it off if its called a tramp stamp. Just for the fact my tattoo on my lower back is a memorial for my misscarriage and that was the only place that tattoo could fit. I take pride that is isnt the common butterfy, fairy, flower or tribal markings. I love that it was designed by me, tattooed by one of my dads best friend who owned the tattoo shop. If they cause too much of a issue about it i typically tell the guy to look at it closer and then they get the meaning, then apologize to me.
  • I dont think it's trampy. I think its hot as hell! My gf has one and its a tribal thing with a lilly in the middle and it is so nice to look at when...you know:D Then again we both have some ink so I guess it just depends on if you're into tattoos or not
  • TRAMP STAMP!
