  • Did you have your stuff on the floor or something? A lot of professors are a little goofy from what I have seen. Who knows why half of them do what they do? I would just forget about it if you can. Otherwise, I would pay a visit to her office and tell her you did not appreciate what she did. +5

  • I don't think you are wrong to be offended. She wasn't just "wondering". She either suspected they weren't yours or she was making some other point. This wasn't a human behavior or psychology course was it? Maybe she was illustrating a point? If not, she was an a$$, and if she did this in front of the class she owes you a public apology.
  • I think its a teaching trick like is anything ever ours can humans own property...profs do weird things to teach us difficult concepts...try it on your prof pick up something of his/hers and ask is it yours and see how they handle it
