  • A "more sudden" rise of sea levels from melting ice, enough to flood the world's coastlines with another 5 meters of water per year for a decade, or 50 meters in a single year ... instead of a few centimeters per year for more than a century, which is too slow to be overly concerned about. The loss of many cities and many island nations should wake them up. Of course by then it will be too late.
  • I think they should start looking at the facts and stop being swayed by the whims of the media.Climate change is prompting new businesses in alternative energy.There is nothing wrong with new self sustaining energy even it one does not believe in global warming. Imaging driving you car and not having to pay for gas,heat your house by solar panels and stop paying electric bills.These technologies could expand and make it cost effective for all.In mass production electric cars would be the same price as gas driven cars,and mass produced solar panels would be the same price as a toaster.
