  • Yes, Suby, I believe so. When we talk about Akashik Records we describe the same thing, or? I am not able to analyze my belief - well, believing is not knowing and I do not have to be smart.......
  • I believe so - every generastion tells the next something of when they were young; collectively we use this to build historic fact and some of the more elaborate ideas get dismissed as fairytales.
  • Thanks for directing me to your question Suby. Look into the work of scientist Rupert Sheldrake. He's done work with animals that demonstrates a collective memory. Personally, I subscribe to the theory that consciousness is a part of the universe and that collective memory is just a normal part of it.
  • The idea of a collective memory is interesting but I think dragons were a type (or types) of dinosaur that existed on earth. The fire-breathing part... well maybe that was some artistic license by the story-tellers and myth-makers but who knows. http://www.strangescience.net/stdino2.htm
  • I was brought up in a small village in South Wales. We "knew" that there were Roman graves in one of the fields. When a developer bought the field to build houses, they were held up when they "discovered" Roman graves which had to be preserved / excavated. There was no official record anywhere of these graves, so how did we "know" about them unless it was by telling stories from generation to generation? I know about the developer's problem because many years later I was selling them a computer system, which purchase was being delayed by the discovery of the Roman graves.
