  • Depends how healthy it is...and you should be able to recognize by visual and what it feels like...how it behaves to you and by general observation if it truly is healthy. Also depends what kind you get, as well as age and gender. Some are just $50 but I've seen upwards of $200 for just one. Just make sure you will be satisfied with what you're paying prior to purchasing. Make sure the animal is healthy and make sure you have the breeder's contact information also. You never want to just buy on impulse, but especially without getting the contact stuff should you be dissatisfied with the product/pet. A good breeder won't have a problem giving you their info and should WANT to help you along the way. They should also take the animal back if you can't care for it. Some breeders have this as mandatory and you have to sign for it. I think that's a great plan :) Again, whatever you pay, follow your instincts and if something is not right, question the owner and move on to another breeder.
