Why are young girls attracted to older men and older women attracted to young boys?

I don't know if that's necessarily true, but I think the conventional wisdom is that: Young girls are attracted to the experience and safety that can be provided by an older man, whereas older women are attracted to younger men since they are able to keep pace with them in a way older men cannot - particularly sexually.
