    President Andrew Jackson is said to have stated once that "It's a poor mind that can spell a word only one way."

    Years ago a personnel manager, prior to his retirement, would look in his desk drawer right before he signed something that asked for his title. After his retirement, his co-workers looked in the desk. There was a note taped there that said "Two N's, one L."
