Confront him. This is how science is supposed to work. It is your duty....

In my experience, it has always paid off to confront my professors. I changed an F into an A+ that way.
-
Definitely confront the professor, but do it in a professional and courteous way
-
you get what you settle for, don't settle for a b- if you really think it should have ranked more !
-
confront the proffessor but not in the classroom see if you can get an apointment meet them in there office to discuss it
-
Disagreeing (aloud) with your professor is very, VERY bad Ju Ju! Don't do that! If you value your GPA, you will pick your battles wisely.
-
definitely confront.. a more diplomatic way to say it would be to "try to understand what was wrong with your answer."... if youre lucky, the prof will see the error of their ways while they explained to you and would make the grade adjustment 'on their own.' ...unless they said ahead of time "I will not tolerate haggling over grades," which is what one of my professors did say once at the beginning of a class, because she said she quadruple checked her grading. in this case, don't confront. it just makes them angry hahah. and... unless you are dealing with Professor Chexie, because Professor Chexie is always right. ;)

I don't think "confront" is the right word. But you should certainly discuss the matter with your professor, find out why he/she gave you that grade and why you felt it should have been higher. At the very least, you're showing them that you're concerned about doing a good job.

Do you want to argue or do you want to win? If you want to argure, you confront them. If you want to possibly earn an "A", you agree to meet with them and discuss it.
