Navy-trained dolphins can attach leg cuffs to enemies and set off alert beacons. Do you think it is right to use dolphins to fight human wars?

    No. I think it is a sin beyond measure.

    And I feel this way about horses, dogs, carrier pigeons, bats, or any other living thing humans try to put to service in our wars.

    (Yes, there was a plan to tie small bombs to bats in WW II.)
