Right im getting my septum pierced now this weekend and i want to know is it going to be very painful and will i be able to change my ring within 4 weeks? thanks

    It's different for everyone. I personally put mine off for six years because of all the stories of how much pain people were in!
    Ignore them and just think how sexy it'll look ;D
    Personally mine didn't hurt one bit - though your eyes will water as anything hitting or piercing your nose will make your eyes water (:

    the pain factor is hard to describe because its relative everyone feels it differently and depending on where in your septum you get it pierced will affect is aswell there are two pieces of cartilage and a soft spot between them if you go through the soft spot (which any good piercer will try to) it will hurt less but its still going to feel like shoving a needle though your nose. as for changing the ring within 4 weeks you could do it but i would highly advise waiting untill its fully healed (about 8-10 weeks to be safe)
