17, oh well, perhaps I need to be more observant, lol.

I got 16. I'm wondering if "merry-go-round" actually meant "carousel." Around here, merry-go-rounds are the spinning things on playgrounds that go whatever way the kids push them. Too bad I didn't think it might mean carousel before I answered - I would have gotten that right! And that TV one isn't fair...I've never even seen that kind of television. Oh, well.

19. Interesting. Thanks. +5 for the question. And +6 for everybody else who answered.

12. I didn't understand some of the questions though... and a few of those 'everyday things' were actually things I have never come across. I live a sheltered life!
-
Just 10 Cotton. But some of the questions related to US appliances. So that's my excuse. lol!

17 There are a couple I can take issue with even if I got them right. Fans turning, and merry go round directions. Carousels go counter, a playground merry go round can go either way.
-
Oh my. Just throw me out of the country now. I am an American and I got 17.

I got 19 right and I take issue with a couple of the questions. Some fans are reversible (like my ceiling fan), so they can turn either way. While *many* cars have 5 lug nuts/bolts per wheel, some have 4 (small light cars), some have 6, and some light trucks have 8 lugs per wheel. I am *certain* that I have encountered clockwise-rotating (as viewed from above) merry-go-rounds in my life. Water drain rotation turns out to be FAR more dependent upon drain geometry than Coriolis forces, so that question is ambiguous.
