Go to the hardware store. I believe they sell these at Wal-Mart, too. (MAY be seasonal, for Christmas lights, there.)
Buy a plug-in-timer. They have simple ones (simple on-and-off) and at least ones with each hour on-and-off. Apparently, based on the link provided by Lonely at http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/8365177, they have weekly and more, too, but maybe not at the hardware or Wally World. ;-)
Take it home, set it correctly (follow instructions), plug it into the wall, plug in the lamp(s) (or whatever), and VOILA!
