For those of you who are hardcore Christians and believe you are not to have lustful feeling for others (when you aren't married)....Don't you just lust in your mind and not say anything about it? It's not like you're hurting anyone?

You are hurting your relationship with God. Sin doesn't have to hurt someone to be wrong. It is what it does to your relationship with God that makes something a sin.

As Christians we know lustful thinking is adultery

Lustful thoughts happen due to our nature. It is our reaction to them that determines if it is sinful. If you encourge or dwell on the thoughts they become sinful. Martin Luther once said that you cannot prevent a bird from flying over your head. But you can prevent him from making a nest in your hair. I would be happy if my savior considered me a "hardcore" christian. Unfortunatly, I cannot honestly make that claim. I am practicing christianity because I havent gotten it done right, at least not yet.

sexual attraction is not the same as lust. for instance, I am a walkin boner - but i would never entertain any intentions of adultery or pedophilia for example.
