Have you ever had "bad water?" If so, where, and what was wrong with it?

Bangor, ME water is horrible, believe me! If you don't have a water filter, then you might get sick! You can see things floating in the water. It's gross.

It's odd because it depends on the person! In McKinney Texas, the water is almost like dirt! People who are ammune to it have no idea what im talking about but I can always taste it!

I spent 6 weeks in a "guest house" (hotel) in the interior of China about 15 years ago. The water had tiny white bugs in it, likely from some kind of tank on the roof. It was disgusting to bathe in, and I was forced to brush my teeth with beer.

I almost always find myself drinking something. I drink water from my tap. It is bad water. It taste ok once it is chilled down, though. +5

yes, we used to have well water at my house.It's smell was horrible!and i have blonde hair and it used to turn orange it was so bad

Yes, - i drank spanish water, its different to ours (from the sink taps) - it tastes funny, and also makes most people ill :)

It was obviously used to wash a salad I ate in Cairo in a supposedly safe restaurant. Can you say Pharaohs curse? Was on the 18th floor of the Marriott there during an earthquake to boot. I was hoping the quake would kill me while I was praying to the porcelain god.

The water in my town is so pure it is sold around the world! So I don't have bad water very often. . But when I go out of town and drink their water is tastes like BLEACH and grosses me out. So I bring a couple gallon jugs with me. +5 Martha Stewart

Use to have well water and we found out that cow feces was getting into the well......Never drank from it again even though the landlord rectified the problem.

The worst I've had was in Phoenix, it tasted over chlorinated and very mineraly. Also, this one time I was swimming in a stream in Mexico and I accidentally swallowed a mouthful of the water. I got all worried because you're not even supposed to drink the tap water. Luckily nothing bad happened.

I lived in oklahoma and a place I stayed at had watr that was too minerally...and it was filled with sulfur...it smelled like rotten eggs and could almost make you bark....yuk.
