In America, a country that was founded on the ideal of freedom, why do we tolerate the Marxists in our midst, who are working very hard to spread their socialism, better described as communism, WHY? That is not freedom.

Marxism goes against everything I believe in but this country was founded on free speech if I didn't tolerate others rights to speak there minds it would not be the USA

Because part of our freedom is giving them a voice. I don't like it, but that is the way it has to be.

As opposed to what? Free Range Capitalists who espouse the destruction of the working class? That's hardly freedom either. Or the Religious Fanatics who espouse that Americans should have the right to worship the One True God of the Religious Fanatics choice? That's hardly freedom. Perhaps we need to destroy the village in order to save it?

Marxism as described by Marx and Engels is a beautiful, utopian philosophy, and actually in essence profoundly democratic. Marxism has failed because we are not ready for it. Capitalism is simply selfishness and crass materialism elevated to the dignity of an "economic philosophy". I'm not going to change your mind, obviously. But I do wish people would read Marx before they start ranting about Marxism.

So, America is all about freedom, and we should keep it that way by restricting freedom of thought and freedom of speech, and by kicking out or punishing people with different political philosophies? You're making no sense.
