You don't have a choice in the matter. Look at it this way, you only have a year left. I would be on the up and up even after the first year for a while. They could still be watching you to see if you screw up. They can't charge you with a probation violation but if you're charged with a new crime, that will just give them fuel for the fire to try to make you look like a habitual felon. Just bear with it. A year goes by quick enough if you're not counting the days.
