Do you use emoticons? ;) Do you only use them with certain people (or on sites like AB) because you're too sophisticated to use them with other people?

Yes. And I definitely only use them with certain people because I am too sophisticated with other people. Jeez, I've always wondered about this myself, if anyone else does it. :]

Yes and not only that some of my friend go not know what they mean so I just don't confuse them.

It depends. If i want to make light work of a situation i do, and it depends what type of question it is. I dont hold back, i couldnt care less what they thought of me, and if they felt so stongly about a :) and wanted to downgrade me over it then its up to them. (Trolls! rar) lol. :D

I use emoticons often. I definitely try to portray what type of mood I'm in, as it is often SO hard to do through text. So the more smileys and whatever else I can use, the better. I would hate for people to take me the wrong way. The only place I don't use alot of smileys is at work through email. I will use a :) sometimes, but otherwise, I keep it smiley free. I think the nature of the text is fairly emotionless, and is implied.
