Assuming you are talking about George Orwell, the answer is a resounding yes. You have to read his books to get the message he was giving us.
I read them. 1984 and Animal Farm were two of his best read, and he accurately predicted the future in both. Would you like to have a microchip implanted that tracks your every move? The other point he made was that some animals were more entitled than others. You'll have to read both books to get the message.
in the short-run, yes, as orwell was prescient. of course, in the long run, no one or thing really matters. i guess it's getting to be those short depressive days and i'm bluer than usual. sorry, keith.
