Does Obama have to worry about the Sneior vote once he cuts their medicare they'll just die so why worry about that voting block?

Although they are a majority of the population, there are people other than Seniors on Medicare, for your information. I don't think Obama is as cruel, misleading, and uninformed as you are, so I doubt this is his "rationale."

I think you got caught up in the "spin" that the republicans have been ranting about. so i will explain it all to you. about 5 years ago, President Bush came up with a great idea, he said "hey, we can stick it to the seniors more if we mandate an additional insurance with their medicare" So the republican congress passed a bill that mandated what is called "Medicare part A, and Medicare part B" these MANDATORY programs require that the recipient of medicare purchase additional insurance to cover medicine cost, or other cost such as diabetics equipment and things like that. So now the republicans are blaming the president saying that he will increase the cost, and reduce coverage, when in fact it is the insurance companies that said they will do this. they will increase the premiums on the medicare coverage, and the spin doctors, hoping that most Americans don't know or understand about the medicare part A and B will blame it on the president. And that is really what all this is about, not something that Obama has done, but something that Bush did 5 years ago.
