Watch Star Wars and some other random nerd things so you can quote them. Nerds do that. Like "You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy" is a fairly common one. What would really be best would be to find out what he likes and show an interest. If he likes some show in a nerdy way then you could watch some of it so you can understand what he's saying about it. If he's into D&D or Yu-Gi-Oh! or something then maybe you could ask him to teach you how to play? What you have to remember though, is that while he will appreciate you trying to talk his language, he started going out with you because he likes YOU. You don't need to try and be someone else that you think he'd like better. =)

To be honest though, I don't think he would necessarily want you to be geeky too, he probably likes you the way you are, but I understand you want to relate to him, just simply ask him a few questions about whatever he likes (Dragon Age), he won't shut up for hours.
