the most romantic thing my s/o did for me was that he came over asked my parent if he can go on date with me and she said yes and then he took me to the movies than the park then he took me to the beach we kissed w/e then he said i love and i smiled and said i love u back

Tom and I were dating in high school, but were both too scared to say the L word. He went away to college after we had a disagreement, in 1970. I met someone else, but Tom came back to see me. I was so ticked off about him never even saying goodbye to me, that I told him I was taken.
He sorta followed my whereabouts till I moved away to California, then he lost track of me. I emailed him once in 2000, but he was not feeling well and decided not to pursue a relationship.
He had a heart attack and nearly died. His last thought before he went under for surgery was of my face leaning down to kiss him. When he was better, he wrote a book about his life and people he knew, and some Scifi stuff. Two of the stories were about me. He decided it was time to find me again in 2008, and looked for me online till he found my Yahoo email address, contacted me, and after 5 months he convinced me it was time to get back together.

I was already divorced. Things are so great now--I never realized how miserable my life was till I came to be Tom's wife, and found peace and security in his arms. We are considering writing our story together for his next book.
