  • Racism and feminism are both about hate and stereotyping. That's what's wrong. It's like when somebody says: "I'm not a racist, but. . . you know how most black men sell drugs, steal cars, wear baggy pants, and live in the ghetto?" Feminist version: "Every woman's son is her potential betrayer and also the inevitable rapist or exploiter of another woman." (Andrea Dworkin)
  • There's nothing wrong with being a feminist but they might not want to be stereotyped with the label, because it has some negative undertones. I wouldn't describe myself as a feminist, not because I don't agree with some of their views, but because I'm not fanatical about it and somehow stating that you are feminist suggests a certain fanatacism.
