I do, and the POW/MIA flag.
I fly a Canadian flag next to my house on a tall white pole, and lower it whenever we commemorate our fallen soldiers, police officers, firefighters, etc.
Never have, never will. For WHAT reason? In MY case--just LIVING in the U.S. is proof enough of MY nationality. To each, his own--I suppose...
Id fly an irish flag outside my house but i don't have a flag but i would if i had.
I will not fly the flag of my country in front of my home. I do not feel that the country I live in is mine.
I do; even though nobody but the people who come and go can see it.
I fly the American flag outside my house and used to on my boat-in case I got lost ;)
----------------------> YES I HAVE A SMALL FLAG OUTSIDE NOW live in SO CALIF
I would but currently I do not have one.

Nope the flag of US like all other countries sadly no longer repersent what it repersent. American glory has been replaced with greed, hatred, lack of accountablity and etc in addition to some people have never been truely embraced in Americas glory I could go on and on but my reason remains the same until the people uphold good virtue then I will not fly a flag that is a symbolic flag of justice, equality and virtue
No and no. I am English. My flag is that of St. George. Unfortunately I am just as likely to be seen as a racist, soccer hooligan or member of a right-wing group as a patriot. I am going to stop now as I can feel a rant coming on.
We do,and the 13 colonies once a year too,in preparation of the 4th of July,we have a reading of the Declaration of Independence at the historic site, people come in droves to witness the event every year,,all participants dressed in period clothes,,the ringing of the bell to bring all to attention,a good time for all:)

Certainly. After 9/11 everyone did that. Those in apartment buildings put Large Pictures of flags in their windows, provided by the local Chambers of Commerce. Everywhere you looked you saw the American flag. Non-americans displayed them as well in unity and friendship with us.
No I do not.

All day and lighted all night. It never comes down.
For the 4th of July, yes. However, the rest of the year, we just have the flag next to the front door.
i dont think i would..
I want to have a Canadian flag out front, but flag poles are pretty expensive, and I've never really gotten around to it. One day...
In a New York minute...you betcha! I'm proud to be an American, always will be.
No, I think that is patriotism gone mad.
we do.
I have one on my front door. It has been there since 9/11.
I do. Always will.

Do you think displaying the Confederate flag, as opposed to the stars and bars, is unpatriotic or un-American? Why or why not?

think the US flag looks great, but is that just because I'm used to it? (All those stripes - I dunno sometimes...)
