• Obviously you haven't heard that it is very unlucky to walk under a ladder. If a black cat crosses in front of you it is a sign of bad luck to come. The reason I am saying these things to you is that you minused me for giving you an answer that was right for the question but over your head because you don't know the real answers to the question you asked. Tch Tch.

• nO, not really. Actually I'm a not very clever person on AB. I just wonder what sort of answer she was looking for. If a person wasn't supersticious they would come across a ladder on the footpath and walk under it, no worries. The opposite for the supersticious. Most people I know won't walk under a ladder because it is said to bring on bad luck.
