  • In my own opinion, I believe that it does. I married at 15.......which later ended in divorce when I was 24. I left him when I was 21, but it took years for the divorce to go through because it was contested with two children involved. I was so vulnerable at that age. I am now maried to a wonderful (non-abusive) man and realize how childish I was when I look back on my childhood. I had no business marrying at such a young age.
  • Without really much proof to back up my answer, im going to say that i think it does. The reason is, i feel like especially being 18-25 you're finding out new stuff about yourself, though i know til you're 80 you do. But i think being younger there is much more to take in everyday. It's the fact of that if you marry when you aren't ready to give, then the marriage will drift apart. A marriage is all about giving, and of course recieving as well and for that balance to happen you have to be somewhat selfless. And on average most 18-25 year olds are a little on the selfish side.
