Yes, my biggest change was moving from Arizona to Iowa, no one here knows what I was like 15 years ago and beyond, unless I tell them. There are good and bad points about the move...+

There is a principal known in counseling circles as the CHANGE/CHANGE BACK cycle. It goes like this. People like to react to you in the way that works for them, even if they complain about how you are. If you change, even for the "better", those people have to change too. So the reason why people are so swift about trying to return you to your pigeon hole is because they want to return to theirs. All you can do it commit to your own changes and let them struggle with their own issues with your change. Yes, I have been there and done that. Some people made the trip with me...and some people didn't.
