It depends on what else is in their profile, if they talk about backpacking, camping, traveling etc then I would think they like risky adrenaline type situations. I refer to an adventure as any excursion out of my home that's a bit out of the ordinary...as in I'm up for anything to happen. You should ask them what they mean by it, it would be a good way to get to know a bit about them.
I would need to read more to be able to put it into context. It could range from mountaineering to bedroom gymnastics.
It could also be a sexual metaphor, and that person may be into some *ahem*... "adventurous" behavior
