Yep. The antichrist is going to come, it says so right in the bible. At some point in time, the antichrist will start to show up 7 years before the war between Jesus and the Antichrist will start. The antichrist will be a very popular person, very persuading, persuading people to start to sin. After 3 and a half years, the antichrist will already have an "army" here on earth of people who support him, most likely some sort of political leader I'm guessing. Then, after those 3 and a half years, the antichrist will start to show his bad side. All of the good that he's done will completely turn upside down. It will literally be hell on earth(they say that when Jesus and the Antichrist come, the word will end in fire, according to our priest and bible). Then, 3 days before the antichrist reveals himself(I think), the world will go dark. There will be no sunlight for 3 days, then judgement begins here on earth. After the war is over, there will be 1000 years of peace(pax), and the living and the dead will be judged. This is all based on what I've learned in Catholic School and from reading the Bible.

Yes, only God knows when this will start, but it is right there in the Holy Bible for all to know-the Bible that is God Breathed. I personally can't wait till after the tribulation and rapture are done, because then we will be back in Eden without any worries. In the Books of Daniel and Revelation it is prophesied that Jesus will come back, this will be the beginning of tribulation. It is at this point that He will bind up Satan for a thousand years. At the end of the thousand years He will come back again, this will be the rapture. There will be one final battle and Satan with all his demons will be thrown into the Lake of Fire to burn forever and ever. Jesus will rid the earth of sin, desease, and finally death. The thing is, churches have become so corrupt, that their traditions, rituals and rules have clouded the truth. Anti-Christ is both a individual and a way of behaving. I do believe that an ultimate person will exist who embodies the quality of Antichrist, but there are examples of antichrist everywhere where someone opposes Christ's teachings.

No. Do people even NEED an Antichrist? People are waging holy wars and decapitating each other over who has what correct religion, if I was the Antichrist, I'd be dead scared to come on Earth. Besides it makes no sense, if it's told in The Bible that the Antichrist will one day come to Earth and do battle with God but faces inevitable defeat, why the hell would he even bother to show up?
