Maybe it's the media getting it wrong. They did report the shooter was dead and then all of a sudden he was alive! I think we best wait until the dust settles down. We can't be minute to minute listening.

I seriously doubt the Military is deliberately lying about any aspect of it. THey are simply not saying much of anything, and that is as it should be. The UCMJ protects the rights of the accused by allowing defense attorneys to object is officers say anything prejudicial to their client, as their command authority might influence a jury. So they keep a lid on speculation and commenting. In the vacuum, the media talks to everyone else, gets hundreds of different conflicting stories and selects the one that will sell best. Kimberly Munley probably did contribute to stopping the shooting. She Drew Major Hasan's fire and while she was going down Sgt. Todd nailed the shooter.
