Idenitify source. Analyze. . If it's illogical then understand it logically, then gradually expose Yourself to it and habituate. If it's not illogical, then prepare to counteract every situation related, until You feel proficient, then gradually expose Yourself to it (as far as it's safe) and habituate.

I try to break down whatever is causing it into smaller chunks and deal with it bit by bit. If it's a person making you anxious then the same thing applies. =P

I get moving. Sitting and thinking just make it worse so I distract myself with activity/movement. I also remind myself that most everything I have ever freaked/worried about has never come to fruition. So, odds are, whatever has me freaking and peaking won't either. So why not skip it?
