  • Yes, I do. At least he went to the trouble of sending a personally written letter of condolence, rather than just signing a stock word processed one.
  • Just Murdoch's s**t sheet playing their hand too early. Anyone who can't see the obvious politicking is well... a bit 'trusting' shall we say. Ironically the Sun has apparently achieved what the Labour Party and its supporters could not: increasing support for Brown. Not that people like him any better but I think they see it as a snide attack by the gutter press and many see it as Murdoch exploiting a grieving mother and the wider armed forces for his political and business gain. Personal opinion is that this is a storm in a tea cup more interesting for the highlighting of tabloid manipulation of politics. Time will tell, a week is a long time and all that but I feel the Currant Bun has made an 'error of judgement' to use the political parlance.
  • I think he has been treated harshly. As Brian I says at least he sent a handwritten personal note, instead of just signing a stock one. He can't do right for doing wrong nowadays, and while I'm no fan of his I think that his heart was in the right place, and being judged by The Sun for having written something dodgy is like being called skanky by Amy Winehouse.
  • I want Tony Blair back...He was so cute..and fierce...
