Well I don't think people would risk making up scientific evidence, and you can tell already it is only Spring and it is warm.

I think there has been a significant change in the weather patterns here in the Northeast U.S. When I was a kid, you never knew if you'd be wearing a holloween costume or a snow suit to go trick-or-treating.(New York,1970's) Now It's 75 in October and yesterday it snowed, so I'm thinkin' yea, something is up.

I think it's pretty obvious that the planet is getting warmer. Where I live, 14 years ago we used to get freezing cold winters and now it's 70-80 in February and snow is a rarity. The polar ice caps and glaciers are melting at an alarming rate, quickly enough that it's been speculated that they'll be completely gone within decades.
