Yes I used it over the week end, the house was a little chilly. Its electric though.

We don't have a fireplace. We have a wood stove and it gets used 24/7 once the weather turns cold as it's our only heat. Right now we use it almost each day but soon, it will be hot all the time until April or May.

Yes, especially on really cold nights. When company comes, they love the fireplace. I have these "sulfur" pinecones I throw in there that turns the fire blue and everybody loves to see that.

Do you mean the kitchen?? That's the only fireplace we have :)

I typically use it on the weekends when the temperature drops below 20F. It makes the house seem more like home to me. Maybe because we always had a fire in the fireplace when I was a child.
