  • I've seen lots of old friends, but the last one I saw that actually stayed a part of my life was my best childhood friend. We saw eachother at the grocery, swapped numbers, and began talking on a regular basis. To make a long story short, she met my cousin, started dating him, fell in love, got married, and now has a beautiful baby girl with him. I guess you could say she's part of the family now. +4

  • An old friend called this past weekend. It was nice to hear from him but the sad part is that I was informed about his brother passing away, last week. We were all very close when we were younger.

We've spoken on the phone since ... such fun!! I couldn't believe the stuff we both remembered and still laugh about them. Nothing better than friends from your childhood!!

  • Since I've been on facebook, I've gotten back in touch with a bunch of old school friends and co-workers. I had lunch with one of my old co-workers a couple of months ago, and finally got an email/friend request from an old high school friend who just moved back in the area.

  • My first girlfriend, a sweety from Mexico that I hadn't seen since 1982, tracked me down about 4 years ago. She was about to get married and was having cold feet. She went ahead and got married and is very happy now. We now communicate often and are good friends.
  • My mom just recently got on Facebook (I'm not). Two guys I served in Iraq with were asking about me. Almost makes me want to get on Facebook just to say hi. Not time for that yet though.
