I don't think you're weird at all.

Has any guy so far been scared off by your statistics? If so, it's probably more due to knowing your numbers than the numbers themselves. What are HIS numbers, by the way?

If he's realistic, he should take into account that once most people hit a certain age, their sexual history may or may not be extensive, regardless of gender. It may be true that men have on average more sexual partners than women do, but if that's so, ask yourself with whom the men are having sex. Obviously, women's numbers should be closely comparable to men's, they just don't announce them like men do.

Also, he should realize that while you're being honest and upfront with him about your sexual history, the average person isn't (women tend to down-play their number of previous partners, men tend to exaggerate).

No guy I met so far had a problem with the number of guys Ive been with before, but I know from lots of questions asked by men that they have an issue with it. Its something I just can't seem to get my head around.

Are there any women you think who has an issue with the number of partners a guy has had? But anyway what you said had me thinking, it might not be about the numbers themselves, but about how closely they match the numbers of your partner? If he's got a low number he'd like you to have a low number too, and if he's had more then it's "ok" for you to have more? So the guy basically just wants to be the one who's slept around more or else he gets insecure?

First, you contradict yourself when you say that no guy has had a problem with the number of men you've slept with, and that they have an issue with it.

I think the average woman "has an issue" with a man's sexual history 'body-count'. The average woman may not want a virgin male, nor would she want a man who's slept with hundreds of women. Men brag to each other that they've slept with hundreds, yet if they want to get into your panties, they subtract, divide, use algebra and calculus to give you an "acceptable" number.

Your theory of people comparing their numbers to a potential partner's numbers seems right on to me, after all, we're a competitive society/culture.

I don't believe the average man is ok with a woman having a very "high" number, so you're probably right about his feeling insecure.

Well I just might start to understand this phenomenon.

What I meant earlier was that no man I have dated has had an issue with my number of previous partners (at least what I know of, it never came up as a problem at all). But I also know that other men have an issue with it (luckily I have just avoided meeting these men?)

Since talking about previous sexual partners isnt exactly a first date topic, why would it matter to a guy who just wants to get into your panties? Getting this information would require some dates and effort. That means if a guy wanted to just screw around he wont be able to know who has had more partners than the other until after he's been dating them for a while, and honestly... if he just wants to get laid I dont think he would care about how many guys the girl has been with?

Don't make the mistake that a man is thinking of getting between your legs on a first date only. Men are ALWAYS thinking of having sex with you.

Because there are women who do sleep with men on the first date (or even without a date), men know that there's always a chance that you may be that way too. Men operate on odds, much like gambling. If he has to go out with you more than once, he'll do so if he thinks there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

You're right that if he's on a 'hit-and-run' mission, he doesn't care what your numbers are, unless those numbers increase the odds that he'll be the next notch on your bedpost.
