Do unto others as you would have them do to you, maybe. If you take a life, then why can't they at least try to take away that opportunity?

In their mind, they were ending one life to save many. If I applied the same logic, there are a few inflammatory media personalities I would shoot so that the didn't incite others to commit random acts of hatred-induced violence, and I would not care about the hypocrisy involved. Good thing I don't use the same logic ;)
