I really don't put much thought on things outside of my control but yes, I like giving points as a way of showing agreement with an answer or a good question.

I gain a lot of knowledge from answers to my questions. I will admit, though if it were not for the points, I would most likely not be here.

Bad. They give some people a false since of superiority and others, the point brings out the ugly side of. Personally, I don't give a sh#t about the rank and point system. This is supposed to be a site to ask and answer questions, not see who can sit on their computer endlessly just to get to that next level. They need to ditch it. +4

A very good idea - it is what makes Answer Bag so much fun to be a part of!!! Being rewarded for your participation both to help others and to learn things yourself, is what this site is all about.
Do you ever pay attention to what others "like" on here? If so, do you assume everyone actually likes everything he or she "likes"?

When will AB update its point system? A "like" can be misleading to people who aren't familiar with the site. How about "helpful"?
