I have heard of many women who continue to have their period for almost the entire pregnancy. Alot of them didn't realize they were pregnant because of this. I don't know the medical reason, I just know it is possible.

yes actually, i dont know if its exactly a period, but there are women who will bleed and not know they are pregnant because of it. my best friend found out she was pregnant at 5 months. she had no idea because she had a regular flow the whole time. and in january i bled, so i didnt think i was pregnant, and then last month i found out i was actually pregnant. good luck with that if you are having the same issue. if you think you may be pregnant go ahead and take a test but sometimes it can still be too soon to tell. my first 2 came up negitive.

With my fourth child (5th pregnancy, had a miscarriage between 1 & 2)I bled at the normal time for the first 4 mths (I always had light periods, so it was a bit lighter but not unusual)..it turned out I miscarried my sons twin..

I think that i may be pregnant, because i feel something move in my stomach and i may be about five months because that wsa the age of my first baby that it start to move. I have also feel pain in my lower back for like 2 weeks already. I really afraid that i will be pregnant and not knowing. And about 3 days ago some milk comed out of my brest. no she cant get her period, but she can get bleeding that is similar to her period or spotting. which can be caused by implantation bleeding, or other reasons :)

Yes you Can!! I was 5 1/2 Months pregnant with twins and had a period up until then. It was a little irregular, but i put it off to stress. I didn't know i was pregnant. I didn't gain weight or have any type of morning sickness. When i finally missed my cycle, i went to the doctor and was informed i was pregnant with twins. two months later i gave birth.

No it is very impossible, the bleeding is mistaken for implantation bleeding, which usually happens about 6-10 days past conception. If you are bleeding and pregnant I urge you to see your healthcare provider. Bleeding during pregnancy is NEVER normal! R.N. Amy-Ohio

Is it possible to pregnant even if you've been having a heavy period since the last time you had sex for 7 or 8 months straight? well heres my story. well since i was feelings pregnancy sypmtoms i took 2 home tests and came out negative.. i went to a clinic and the same thing.. NEGAVTIVE.. but i stil feel that im pregnant because my stomache looks bloated and ive gained some weight.my breasts hurt and i have some other symptoms.. but yet i still get my regular period like i should every month.. can i stil be pregnant?? anyone..

if you get you're period, then you're safe. even if the egg was fertilized, the liner in the womb is gone, so there is no where for the embryo to grab onto and so it will flow out with the rest of the blood.

How long do you think you would be a long? I still had a light period for two months when I first go pregnant. It really depends on the person though.

I would get a pregnancy test done if you might be a month or longer. I know that I got real tired and when I found out I was it made sense. My suggestion is go get a test, either a home one or from your doctor and then if you are not you can let that ease your mind a little.

Yes, but it isn't your period. They call it implantation. I did this with my son and bled for 3 months heavily. I went to the ER immediately, but all was fine. I would take a pg test but it still might not be accurate, a doctor or the local health dept will be able to give you a for sure answer. Good luck!

It is very possible to have your period when you are pregnant. My aunt did for her first six months of being pregnant. But take it from someone who has had problems during her pregnancy you might want to check it out.

No. Your period is this cycles unfertilised egg being released. Your body releases this and then next cycles egg starts developing. Optimum time for conception would be two weeks from now. Only one egg at a time normally though so if you got your period then you have to try and fertilise the next egg!(you may want to get some help for the fertilisation bit!;0)). If you don't fertilise next months egg you'll know about it because it'll be released again!

Technically no. A girl gets her period to expell an unfertilized egg, and the egg would be in the wrong place at the wrong time if semen did get to it. BUT semen can last inside a vagina for 5 days before dying, so if the girl were to ovulate right after getting her period, she could very well get pregnant.
