  • Yes, she can. It's unusual, but not impossible. Actually this is why a lot of women don't realise they're pregnant.
  • I have heard of many women who continue to have their period for almost the entire pregnancy. Alot of them didn't realize they were pregnant because of this. I don't know the medical reason, I just know it is possible.
  • Yes - I did
  • yes she can. http://www.howtodothings.com/family-and-relationships/a2155-how-to-explain-menstruation-during-pregnancy.html Some women do menstruate during the early part of pregnancy. Other women spot during pregnancy and mistake this with an unusual menstrual cycle. There are many reasons for spotting and bleeding during pregnancy, some serious, some not. If you suspect you are pregnant, yet have menstrual-like bleeding, contact your care provider to rule out a serious complication. http://www.steadyhealth.com/Regular_menstruation_during_pregnancy____t75600.html There are occasional cases where a pregnancy is not detected by urine test, and sometimes woman can still bleed in a monthly cycle during pregnancy. However, to get a combo of the two would be exceedingly rare. The easiest way to know for sure is to go to the doctor for a blood test as that is 100% accurate.
  • yes actually, i dont know if its exactly a period, but there are women who will bleed and not know they are pregnant because of it. my best friend found out she was pregnant at 5 months. she had no idea because she had a regular flow the whole time. and in january i bled, so i didnt think i was pregnant, and then last month i found out i was actually pregnant. good luck with that if you are having the same issue. if you think you may be pregnant go ahead and take a test but sometimes it can still be too soon to tell. my first 2 came up negitive.
  • well to be honest a woman can still have her period while being pregnant my mother had hers the hole 9 months she was pregnant with me..
  • I would like to know since I have read that it is possible, than how can you tell early on if you are or not. I usually clot alot when I am on my cycle but this time I didn't have any and I have been peeing more. are those signs that I maybe
  • Yes..that would be my luck!
  • Yep..and I have a son to prove it!!
  • yes. some women still experience a period throughout pregnancy.
  • I know of two women who have had their periods for the first few months of pregnancy. Neither one of them knew right away that they were pregnant because they still had their periods.
  • yep...for 7mos. I did
  • yes. It usually means that you are trying to miscarry..but doesn't mean you will miscarry. With my fourth child (5th pregnancy, had a miscarriage between 1 & 2)I bled at the normal time for the first 4 mths (I always had light periods, so it was a bit lighter but not unusual)..it turned out I miscarried my sons twin..
  • Yes...I was 5 months pregnant with my 2nd child before I knew it, because my periods continued.
  • I don't believe so
  • I think that i may be pregnant, because i feel something move in my stomach and i may be about five months because that wsa the age of my first baby that it start to move. I have also feel pain in my lower back for like 2 weeks already. I really afraid that i will be pregnant and not knowing. And about 3 days ago some milk comed out of my brest. I don't know if i am or not the only thing i know that i did have my period last month this month i'm expecting on the 30th. I was wondering what to do. Please help me decide what to do should i go to the docotor or should i just wait????? please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • My mom got her period two times after she became pregnant with me...I'm a miracle!
  • no she cant get her period, but she can get bleeding that is similar to her period or spotting. which can be caused by implantation bleeding, or other reasons :)
  • yes, i've known a few people who've had bleeding in the first month and i've heard of some who've had periods the whole time.
  • Yes you Can!! I was 5 1/2 Months pregnant with twins and had a period up until then. It was a little irregular, but i put it off to stress. I didn't know i was pregnant. I didn't gain weight or have any type of morning sickness. When i finally missed my cycle, i went to the doctor and was informed i was pregnant with twins. two months later i gave birth.
  • No it is very impossible, the bleeding is mistaken for implantation bleeding, which usually happens about 6-10 days past conception. If you are bleeding and pregnant I urge you to see your healthcare provider. Bleeding during pregnancy is NEVER normal! R.N. Amy-Ohio
  • if you have sex while you have your period, like on the first day, and you keep having your period, could you get pregnant?
  • No, your fine.
  • Is it possible to pregnant even if you've been having a heavy period since the last time you had sex for 7 or 8 months straight? I keep hearing weird stories about women not knowing they're pregnant till they're about to deliver and I'm slightly worried. I had unprotected sex but its been about 7 or 8 months months and I've been regular with very heavy (thats normal for me) periods. I did have one period that was a week late right after having unprotected sex but it came back and was heavy, I thought it might have been because of stress...
  • well heres my story. well since i was feelings pregnancy sypmtoms i took 2 home tests and came out negative.. i went to a clinic and the same thing.. NEGAVTIVE.. but i stil feel that im pregnant because my stomache looks bloated and ive gained some weight.my breasts hurt and i have some other symptoms.. but yet i still get my regular period like i should every month.. can i stil be pregnant?? anyone..
  • if you get you're period, then you're safe. even if the egg was fertilized, the liner in the womb is gone, so there is no where for the embryo to grab onto and so it will flow out with the rest of the blood.
  • As long as you had your regular period you're in the clear.
  • Sure. You get pregnant based on your ovulation schedule, not your menstruation schedule.
  • Yes, lol
  • ya might or ya might not
  • yeah.... your not sure yet...
  • How long do you think you would be a long? I still had a light period for two months when I first go pregnant. It really depends on the person though.
  • I would get a pregnancy test done if you might be a month or longer. I know that I got real tired and when I found out I was it made sense. My suggestion is go get a test, either a home one or from your doctor and then if you are not you can let that ease your mind a little.
  • Yes. Your brain has no effect on your pelvis areas. Why don't you take the proper precautions if you want to avoid pregnancy, instead of relying on your belief system? Sheesh.
  • yes you can.
  • Yes, but it isn't your period. They call it implantation. I did this with my son and bled for 3 months heavily. I went to the ER immediately, but all was fine. I would take a pg test but it still might not be accurate, a doctor or the local health dept will be able to give you a for sure answer. Good luck!
  • yep depends
  • yes it is possible i belive it's happening to me right now i had unprotected sex and he ejaculated in me and i belive in pregnant now & yet i'm on my period ):
  • It is very possible to have your period when you are pregnant. My aunt did for her first six months of being pregnant. But take it from someone who has had problems during her pregnancy you might want to check it out.
  • I knew a girl who got her period during pregnancy.. she didn't know she was pregnant until her 4th month.. then they stopped.. weird eh?
  • Yes, it has been known to happen during the first trimester.
  • yes' check with your doctor,
  • Is there a OBGYN in the house? (hopes that makes sense)
  • No. Your period is this cycles unfertilised egg being released. Your body releases this and then next cycles egg starts developing. Optimum time for conception would be two weeks from now. Only one egg at a time normally though so if you got your period then you have to try and fertilise the next egg!(you may want to get some help for the fertilisation bit!;0)). If you don't fertilise next months egg you'll know about it because it'll be released again!
  • yes it is very possible it happened to me and i didnt no i wus pregnant til i wus three months with my son.
  • i dont think so.
  • Technically no. A girl gets her period to expell an unfertilized egg, and the egg would be in the wrong place at the wrong time if semen did get to it. BUT semen can last inside a vagina for 5 days before dying, so if the girl were to ovulate right after getting her period, she could very well get pregnant.
