How to repair headphone cable? I have Bose in-ear headphones ($99 ones) . Rubber is cut at some places (just a thin cut, exposing the copper wires inside).I dont want to use insulation or scotch tape.
Any better solution on how to repair these?

They make a tubing called "shrink wrap." You get the smallest piece you can that still fits over the plug, cut it the length you want, then slide it up the cable until it covers the bare wires, then you heat it with a match or lighter and the tubing shrinks down tight against the wire. You can get this at Radio Shack or other electronic stores.
