Help answer this question below.

Wild rabbits have nested in a covered hole in the yard. What is the nesting cycle? How long will they stay in this area? We have a dog and want to protect the rabbit and babies. Thanks.

Baby rabbits start roaming around at about 2-3 weeks old and can leave their mom at 6-12 weeks old but its better at 8-10 weeks old. I'm not sure about in the wild when they leave their mom and nest but hope this helps!

I think my rabbit had her babies last night but she dug a hole a least 4 feet long so i can`t see her babies-but she covered the hole all the way with dirt we dug the hole back out but then she just covered it again i`m worried about her babies!!
