  • Whenever you search for a particular video on YouTube.com, your search query is recorded. Web browsers keep the history of the websites visited along with the history of the searched items you enter in any search box on any website. To erase the information from YouTube searches, you will have to erase the search history and the private data in the browser itself.

    Internet Explorer

To delete the searched items history in Internet Explorer, you will have to click on the "Tools" menu option and then select "Internet Options." Then click on the "Delete" button under the "Browsing History" section and check the "Temporary Internet Files," "Cookies," "History" and "Form Data" boxes. Click on "Delete" and then "OK" in the "Internet Options" window to complete the removal process. Now the entire search history in the YouTube box has been erased.
