Logging Into A Cell Phone Account Online

Online cell phone accounts keep accurate records of call history through itemized billing. Itemized billing is considered a full break-down of cell phone call history for a particular month. This history is archived with up to six months of history. Go to your cell phone carrier's official website. Type your cell phone account's user name and password in the blank data forms provided on the carrier's homepage. If you do not have an online account, you will need to get one to log in. There will also be a link below these data forms that will give you the option to create an account. Click on this action, and provide the account verification needed to setup the account. It only takes a minute.

View the Itemized Billing History

Now that you've successfully logged into the cell phone account. Click on the option that reads either "View my Bill," "Billing Summary," or "Billing History." A list of bills will be displayed by date in descending order. Click on the billing dates that list the time frame of call history you want to look at. In most cases, the itemized bill will open as a PDF. It may take a minute, because a month's worth of billing can be a rather large file. Once the bill has loaded, scroll down below the actual billing calculations, and the detailed call history will be listed. It will display both incoming and outgoing call history. The time and date of the call, the location of the phone number, the amount of time spent on the call, and whether the call was mobile to mobile. You can opt to save the call history to your hard drive, or print out a copy for physical records.

Request a Physical Copy of the Cell Phone Call History

If you aren't too good with computers, you can also opt to contact the cell phone carrier's customer service department. You will need the account holder's personal information to verify the account in order to make a request. Once you have provided the account holder information, simply request a copy of the call history, and provide the dates for the call history you want to view. You will be mailed the call history for the entire month those dates fall into.
