If you see someone who isn't smiling do you assume that they're unhappy, unfriendly or just miserable?

I wouldn't assume any of those. Sometimes when I am tired I don't smile. So it could be other things. +5

No...I just think they are people. Its the people I see always smiling I think something is up. Im happy, friendly, and antimiserable...but I rarely walk around with a smile on my face...usually cuz im busy pondering on simple things. I smile when Im joyful, or something just made me happy.

No, as I hate it when people assume the same of me. Most people I see don't walk around with a smile on their face all the time, but it doesn't mean that they are any of the things you suggest, it is just normal to walk around with a straight face.
