  • They grow like crazy here in FL, I've just stuck them in the ground and they grew. If you wanna give it a good try, take a knife and shave off about an inch of the bark on one side, then dip it in rooting powder - it's inexpensive and commonly found at garden centers, and contains plant hormones which promote rooting. Find a suitable sized pot that has drainage holes snd fill it with a mixture of half sand and half peat, wet this mixture and mix it up well, then make a small hole and plant your cutting deep enough so it stands on its own, thoroughly water it again and keep it moist. Keep it out of direct sun and don't let it dry out. Good luck!
