he might have to wait in line...unless, all those misconduct, etc charges just vanished its his kid and they screwed up big. if they were planning for long term press--running later, or actually winning the election, they were going to need to "keep him in line" longer than a couple months. you think keeping him away from his kid is going to keep him in line? it took him a really long time to talk to the public and he wasn't really comfortable when he did which means he had to be pushed hard. he's not comfortable with the spotlight...in fact, he looks ridiculously uncomfortable in it, so they're lucky, he's not a kid who likes the light and would use his relationship or lack thereof with them to get attention. but he clearly loves his kid and if you push him too far, you push him too far and that's just stupid. it's stupid because even if you disagree with his beliefs or like the palins, you'll probably like him, he's very likeable. and its stupid cuz its so preventable!! you shouldn't keep a dad away from his kids. and if you're trying to run a good pr campaign, or just show that you can run anything, you shouldn't make really preventable really basic mistakes that anyone could have seen a mile away

i'm tired of that family's drama

i hate it when my x won't let me see the kidz for a few weeks. i can appreciate the desire of a daddy to want to see his kidz. i can also speculate on alterior motives.
