I assume, it is because of the "activism" component of Evangelical Christianity. However, other religions and christian branches also participate in spreading their gospel, but they have not been named in the thread. what say you? are you misunderstood? - please do answer, but of course do not feel obligated to 'defend yourself'. i would just like to know what you think, if there are any evangelical christians on answerbag. - Please no attacking evangelical christians here.

SHORT ANSWER: Yes. LONG ANSWER: In particular I often feel like many of the Atheists on AnswerBag paint with brush strokes that are far too broad. Further, I often feel like many AB Atheists prejudge, and are unwilling to listen to reason, or consider evidence that doesn't support their world view. In fact, even attempting to do so with them will result in a torrent of insulting or condescending ad-hominems. In other words I feel like they very often do to us what they claim that ALL Christians do to them. The key word in that sentence, of course is "all", which is an example of the type of broad brushing that annoys me. I will readily admit that many times Christians DO treat the atheists on AB like that. However, not ALL Christians do - it's probably that stereotyping that I find the most offensive. [And I fully expect to be "piled on" and snarked for daring to express honest feelings and an honest perspective in response to the question]
