Yes. I have no dishwasher - well I am the dishwasher. I meant I have no mechanical/electrical dishwasher.

I have to because there is no washing mashine in my house. I hate to do them and let them pile up for about two days, and then in a fit of mad energy, I knock them all out in a hurry.

Still washing by hand, I tried washing by teenager but that system is full of faulty workmanship, delays, and some days just plain doesn't work! However, THIS YEAR I will be getting a dishwasher, *sigh* or maybe next year, *sigh*

My husband loves to wash dishes by hand. You place a spoon you're using down on the counter and if you aren't careful, swoosh! He's rinse and washed it! I have had to train him to PUT things in the dishwasher so we can get a load going! lol! But I love him dearly and he is so handy when I'm dirtying up a mess of pots and pans and he can keep th ekitchen clean behind me. Plus since he cooks too, I don't have to worry about that awful 'guy messing up the kitchen' problem that can happen so easily.

Yes, and it is horrid! My apartment building doesn't allow dishwashers.

yes. I live with my mom, she doesn't have a dishwasher. She asked my dad to buy her one for christmas a few years ago and his reply was "I have already given you four! Remember, we named them!" indicating my three sisters and I. So yes, we always wash them by hand!

Everyday, dishwashers are some of the worst inventions ever, I mean they don't clean that well and they encourage one to be LAZY!!!

Yes... I wash each dish personally with hot water at least twice with sopa before I put it over to the side to dry... and than later if I left the dish too long on the rack I'll rewash it again before I use it... ocd .. yes i know. =)

No. I rarely even wash them off before I put them in the dishwasher. They always come out clean though.
