I am who I am, what labels people want to give me is irrelevant to me.
-
I have a label on the back of my shirt that is itching me. I am going to remove it right now.
-
To some extent, yes, but people are more than their labels, and these labels come along with stereotypes that aren't always applicable to an individual from this category.
-
Labels are more than likely how SOMEONE ELSE defines you. ALL labels are suspect. If I label an apple "meat", and everyone accepts it, does that define what it is? ---- Knowledge (experience) of something is one thing. My understanding or interpretation of that knowledge is another thing. My COMMUNICATION of my interpretation of that knowledge is something else entirely, and your comprehension of my communication of my interpretation of that knowledge is... ...three times removed from the actual experience.
-
I refuse to accept labels. Labels are placed on people by others to put them in categories so they can be more easily identified ... and more easily handled. Label me and you're probably going to suffer. : )

I don't think you are spelling that word correctly. It's "ladle". I think people should be able to wear any ladle that they can afford and what they do in the privacy of their own kitchen is none of my business.
